FAQs
Does it cost anything to join?
No. There is no program fee and no minimum purchase.
Is there a minimum commitment or volume requirement?
No. Issue one license or a thousand.
Do I get an exclusive territory?
No. The program is non-exclusive, with no territory assignments.
Who owns the end customer relationship?
The reseller. Licenses are created and administered in the reseller’s own account, tagged to the reseller’s customers.
Which receivers does this work with?
Any receiver that accepts NTRIP corrections in RTCM format.
Where is coverage available?
US, UK, EU, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. You can see our coverage map here: https://pointonenav.com/coverage-map
What happens when a license reaches end of term?
The reseller sees every license approaching end of term in the License Management System on the reseller’s Point One account and decides whether to renew, auto-renew, or let it lapse.
Who supports the end customer?
The reseller is first line. Point One provides documentation and an escalation path for issues the reseller can’t resolve.
How long does approval take?
Typically one business day.
When does a license term officially start?
A license term begins as soon as a device is created in the Point One system. All committed licenses must be activated by the specified End Date; any unactivated committed licenses will be automatically activated on that date to prevent forfeiture.
How do license auto-renewals and cancellations work?
Licenses automatically renew as 1-year licenses at the agreed annual rate. If you do not wish to renew a specific license, notify Point One at least two weeks before the license end date. Point One provides monthly reports detailing all active licenses and upcoming end dates.
